AIME hosts inaugural ceremony

The Academy for Innovation in Medical Education is hosting an inaugural ceremony for new and continuing members on Thursday Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Medical Education Building patio.

AIME’s objective is to advance the School of Medicine’s teaching mission through faculty development in pedagogy and state of the art instructional methods, mentorship and student assessment, while creating a culture of education that applauds excellence in teaching the art and science of medicine.

During the ceremony, 30 faculty members will be welcomed into the academy and six awards for outstanding education projects in the School of Medicine will be presented.
